Default radio problem

okay, i have a weird problem with my radio. when i turn my ignition once, the radio and all the accesories (clock, a/c fan, cigarette lighter) turn on. When i turn the ignition on, two clicks, everything turns off...same when i start the car. okay, now what i have to do to turn on the radio and accesories is kinda toggle the key back and forth until it hits a certain spot, then i hear a click and everything turns on, but this "spot" changes all the time, so its a pain in the ***. the "click" seems to be coming under the dash somewhere. I know its not a fuse, because the radio and stuff works, so thats what makes me think its a short somewhere. anybody have any idea where this short could be coming from? i figure it has to do with the ignition because of the toggling, so where should i look?

</TD></TR></TABLE>You will need to replace the ign. switch , if it is one that you can take apart, you may be able to clean it, and repair the contact, good luck 94
