i might be asking about dumb question here goes..i searched before...cant seem to find it...if i was to do the 5 lug conversion (type R) ....can't i just buy the hub adapters since the hub adapter connects to the axle and then just replace the hub adapter, and rotor...or does it get more complicated then that and just need to get the whole conversion that ppl sell

 

Technically, yes you can do that, and you will have 5 lug. But the conversion that people sell is pretty much a genuine Type R setup with Honda parts.

 

i just read somewhere that the type r has a bigger diameter where the hub adapter connects to the axles...is that true?

 

It's only the jdm R that has the larger spline axle. If you buy the hub from the US than it'll be 32mm.

 

well is the jdm typer (bigger spline axle) better or is it the same as the usmd??
