Default problem pumping gas

For some reason I have not been able to pump gas into my car from 3 different gas stations! After i fully pull in the trigger on the pump it shuts off like the tank is full yet it is on empty. The only way i have been able to fill my tank is by lightly pulling the trigger on the pump and just adding little by little until its full. Anyone ever experience this problem or have any idea on what i can do to fix it?

My moms cars(pontiac bonneville) is having the same problem. A local mechanic said that a tube in the gas tank is bent or broken, not letting the gas fill the tank quickly. He said she might have to replace the whole tank.

Not really sure. I would pull the driver rear wheel take off the spalsh sheilds over the lines and inspect them. You need to get that fixed ASAP, Summit not this weekend but next.

Its honestly because its splashing on the nozzle. You may have to pull the tip out a little more to make sure and it will work!

Thats what happens to ALot fo cars I've ever filled up.The 350Z was notorious for doing that!

Try that!
