i never seen a working turbo upclose and personal, but read some info about them and im truly amazed by how fast they spin (up to 100,000+rpm). the thing i cant imagine is how fast that is.......can these things suck up small children? i mean is this thing spining like at the speeds of a hair dryer or something? has anybody left the compressor side open so it just blows out air, what does the pressure feel like?

Even your motor itself is spinning hella fast, and its nowhere near 100,000.
At idle, the pistons are banging up much more than once a second. Not think about at 7,000 rpm: ouch!
