Good raod race shop, need some work on my car.
Ok hers the story, its kinda long just bare with me. I went out of the honda scene for awhile and i am back. I traded my integra for my moms montero and pretty much put the integra back to stock except for a few small things. Anyways the car is not in good shape anymore, it feels like there is transmission problems and the axles are done with and exhaust, basicly alot of stuff needs to be fixed on the car. My mom said she would pay for the stuff to be fixed. Here is the thing, i want to take the integra back and I am really interested in road racing. I figured why not replace the broken things with performance things for use on the track. My question is does anyone know a shop here in Southern California that can just go through all my car inspect it on what needs to be fixed and then replace them with parts that would ebtter me on a road race track. Thanks again.
Unfortunately it is much more involved than just putting some parts on and hitting the track in road racing (by that I mean competitive racing, not lapping). Your best bet would be to repair what is wrong with the car, buy a helmet and some other safety gear, throw some good tires and brake pads on, and try HPDE (I'd suggest autocrossing too). Once you are there you can talk to the road racers and get an idea as to what options you may have as far as road racing is concerned. But be warned, it is VERY expensive stuff!
Yea the thigns is tho i think the parts that are going to be replaced stock will be throw out later with modified parts so what i am saying is i would not liek to blow myc ash on some stock stuff now and replace them in a few months.
The reality is if that you are now depending on your Mom to supply the funds to fix the Integra it is unlikely you can afford a lot of (any?) time on a race track, much less prepare your car for road racing. A HPDE track day can set you back about $300 a day or weekend depending on the track/group which is cheap track time these days.
Sean makes some good points in that road racing is very expensive and autocross is a good alternative. You will learn a lot about car control for minimal expense. Visit scca.com or nasaproracing.com for info about places to play in your area. If you really want to get on the track refer to the thread on here titled "So you want to drive on a racetrack..." under Roadracing/Autocross for a bunch of links to organizations offering track days.

The thing is, if you are going to road race, you will most likely not want to start out by building your own car. This is especially important if you are on an extreme budget.
I think you need to evaluate if your interest is in racing, or simply driving a car fast. If it is the latter, then maybe building a car to your own limits and HPDEing is a more appropriate avenue.

Sean, voice of reason? Wow... whoda thunk the day would come!
What EXACTLY needs to be fixed? If you say exactly what needs fixing/upgrading, we could tell you how upgrading those parts would affect your autocross or roadrace classing, and if upgrades of those parts are a good idea for someone relatively new to the game.

Well thing is my mom drove the car into the ground, which is why she is going to pay for it. However i am not going to stand here and make excuses, i indeed do not make alot of money for i am a college student, however 300 on a race day is a price i am willing to sacrifice. My biggest problems wiht the car over the smaller ones is that the axle needs to be replaced and teh gears in the transmission are fucked up.

$300 a weekend is just the beginning. Kinda like comparing the cost of a processing fee to the cost of tuition.
Keep in mind a proper race car is going to need:
-Roll cage ($1000+)
-Suspension ($1000+ easily)
-Rebuilt transmission, since you mentioned it is damaged (no idea on cost)
-Wheels ($500 a set?)
-Tires ($500+ a set), multiple times a year replaced
-Brakes (wear items, constantly replaced)
-Travel, hotel, gas, tow vehicle, possible repair fees, etc.
The list can go on. I am only an autocrosser, but I've encountered many of the same issues when dealing with driving seriously.
I hate to discourage you like this, but it is better to be properly informed and know that maybe this isn't the right thing for you at the time, than to see you get in way over your head, and have nothing to show for it but loads of frustration and bills.

Racing = $1,000/weekend after the car is built and you own a truck/trailer and assuming you dont crash.
HPDE/Open track usually runs $500/weekend with everything accounted for.
