Default Tuning with Hondata

To properly tune a car using hondata or uberdata what equipment is needed, Is it a complicated process?
Would anyone be able to use it?
How would you learn to use hondata and tune with it?

tools needed are a

timing light
wideband o2
chip burner
chip emulator, not nec. but verry helpful
laptop

as for the q.

there is allot involved in tuning but it is fairly easy to get a car to run.
there are allot of AFR tuners arroumnd here and they can get the cars to run fine with a perfect afr at wot but the rest of the maps are questionable

but if you are willing to try and learn go for it also look into http://www.efi101.com bens class is verry good introduction into tuning a efi system

Basically what B18cls1 is trying to say is there are alot of "wannabe" tuners out there that think just cause they can modify a base map, burn a chip or get a solid WOT AFR reading, they are are "tuners"..when in reality there partial throttle maps look like *** and the car runs like **** in that portion, has horrible gas mileage, base timing not in sync with the software/ECU.(etc)..so be careful just cause the car "runs" and "idles" doesn't mean you have a "properly" tuned engine (which im sure u payed for) .........good luck
