Default Computer Power to run amp IN HOME?

I have been hearing talk about using old computer power supplys to run Head Units in your house, but i want to know if you can run a amp using that same idea?

tried it.. worked for me at low lvls..

so your saying that i cant have my 400 watt(RMS) amp runing at full blast off a computer power boxx?..........how low is low levels?

without a doubt it will not work,, when i say low,, so low that it was a complete waste of time wiring it up..
