JR supercharged ITR boost limit
Need to know if anybody as a similar setup for comparison. I currently have a stock JR supercharger, (5.5 PSI) kit. The blower as a 4.2" pulley on it. My goal is to go up to 11PSI MAX with this supercharger. I purchased and about to install a smaller JR supercharger pulley (3.8" dia.) and a crank CRV pulley to replace the stock ITR crank pulley. By putting these two, will I exceed 11 PSI?. I figure i should be around that figure, but just wanted to confirm my toughts.
I hope you at least have hondata or aem ems and plan on tuning to run over 9 psi. I wouldn't take it over 7psi personally without engine management. If you already have this then your cool, although I'd get the water mist thing Jackson Racing sells to keep from heatsoak, ect.
Carl right???
Last year I just had a CRV pulley and that will give you about 8-9PSI then you figure the smaller blower pulley will put you up to 11-12PSI....
There no way you can run 8-9PSI without a new fuel set up... you have to put ur FMU in the garbage and get yourself hondata if you wanna make any serious SAFE power...
Even with fuel the JRSC is not efficent over 10PSI simply because of too much heat.. so you going to need a water cooler set up like mine or LHT or just the JR water sprayer...
either route you go theres power to be made...
let me know if you have any more questions!

Thanks Tiller, I will like I mentionned earlier put in a HONDATA S200B with RC 440 and a 255LPH Walbro fuel pump. I know that beyond 11 PSI unit overheats, that's why I'm not going over that limit. I'LL probably go with custom intercooling. I've read alot about the water mist, Expensive and not that usefull as per lot of people. I remember reading an article that mentionned that water mist should really be used for very HIGH HP setup, like V8 outputing 500-600 hp. Are you using this water mist or custom intercooling?. I also hear that by intercooling, you actually loose some boost pressure is that true?
go on MR in the "post you vehicule section" ull see the complete built up of my car and motor set up too...
PM me there if u have any questions!
