Couple of ECU questions, regarding OBD1 GSR in a 99 Acura 1.6 EL
First question
buddy has a 95 GSR swapped in a 99 1.6 EL (Head says 95 on motor)
Second:
His ECU says P72-C05, so im assuming this is a 1999 OBD2 ECU?
Right now hes running the GSR on his stock P2P ecu, it runs fine but has rev limit like 7200 etc, not optimal for the GSR
We tried changing the wiring around but were lost, he said he didn't change any wiring in the engine bay when he swapped motors, just plugged in all harnesses, and it runs.
From all the info we found on the net, like:
http://tech.hybridgarage.com/t....html
it shows how to swap the pins to get it to run, but we have a few problems like mentioned, its an OBD1 motor, AND he has the OBD2-B harness, which is diff from 96-98 civic, i checked it out in my helms, way different config.
Any ideas what we should do?
