Any legal people? I need advice.
Ok, I work at Sam's Club, part of Wal-Mart. I was sent on a trip to pick up some goods from Home Depot for the store, and along the way some idiot pulled out in front of me when I was travelling the speed limit (rare) and taking my time (rare) since I was on the clock. Well, some idiot pulls out in front, I hit brakes, slide, and barely hit the back end. It was enough to destroy the bumper, hood, fenders, bumper reinforcement bar, headlights, and the bar that your hood latch goes through.
We did not report it because I thought it would be my fault since I rear ended his car, and his car was fine.
Well a few people advised that I try to get Wal-Mart to pay for it since I was sent on a trip and that's when the accident occured.
What, if anything, can I do? There was no report to prove the incident, but I did have another guy that worked there with me. Who would I contact and how would I go about getting payment, if possible?
Later I'll upload pictures of the damage.
Thanks.

i would file a report with the police right away.
i doubt your work will do **** for you if you dont ahve that at least, and i bet htey even have a set policy about stuff like that...and i suspect that you have already violated that policy in regards to reporting the accident to police and then your immediate supervisor as well...

To the best of my knowledge, Wal-Mart will laugh at you because theres no legal documents saying when it occured, what happened, who was at fault, etc. I think with out a report your pretty lost unless you can get the guy you hit to pay for it. Sorry bud.
It happened over a month ago, probably too late. Plus I can't find the guy again that I hit.
Eh oh well, was going to replace it all anyway heh. Just not so soon. And now it's so ugly

you're SOL. Sorry guy, its been too long ago and too little (none to be exact) evidence to show you were working.
Ontop of that, there is most likely a policy about personal item damage at Wally World specifically to avoid just such a scenario. Your car is not on their insurance = Personal Item = Not Covered.
