ok i have been working on my 86 crx project car all summer. i am getting close to getting it back on the road. this past weekend i put a new hatch on it. and then i started on my turnsignal switch. it was cracked so i picked up a new one at a junk yard and put it in, but now the trunsignals do not work?? my hazard lights do not work either. i checked the fuse and it is good. the trunsignals and backup lights are on the same fuse and the backup lights work fine. also the blinker relay is fine, i even tried it in my other crx and they worked fine

did i mess somthing up when i cut the wires to put the new hatch on?
is it possible that the switch is bad?
how does the turn signal work in the first place? i dont see any metal conections or wires that are connected to it.

any ideas would be great, i am screwed if i cant get this figured out, and i dont want to drive my 88 in the snow. also is there anyway to rig up turnsignals using some kind of togle switch? just let me know anything. thanks to all who help me out
