Default Blew a head gasket on d16z6

How much would it cost to repair my head gasket? I know it is a simple gasket, but if I were to bring it to the shop how much? My engine overheated and I believe it is seized, so I believe I would be replacing much more than just the gasket...Would I be better off buying a new engine and if so, which one. I was thinking GSR...

If the engine seized, then your best bet is probly to replace it with another. If the headgasket was just blown and the engine still ran, then I would say just replace the gasket but if the actual engine stoped turning then its probly dead and needs the enternals replaced or more.

just swap it out,
if u blew the gasket/overheated.. and it was JUST that,
you would want to have the block/head resurfaced and new gasket on.

but it shouldnt have SEIZED UP thats bad,
if that happend iwouldnt eeven think about other things, just get a new engine alltogether.

where is a good site to look at engines. I want DOHC instead of the SOHC.
