Default FS: 1993 Civic hatchback shell - it's going to sell cheap on Ebay

I'm tired of looking at it. Having it in the garage is a constant reminder of all the hours and tens of thousands of dollars I spent and can no longer enjoy.

Things to consider:

I do not have the stock brake parts. If you were interested in turning this into an IT car, however, you could come out ahead financially by doing so. You could sell the integra parts for a considerable amount of money and get the stock CX parts for next to nothing.

The car does not have a driver window. If you really needed one though, you could consider cutting out part of the nascar bar and replacing the door. I know it would be kindof a shame to do this, but the cost of a new door would be next to nothing, and you could always have the bars re-installed later if you needed to.

OK people, this is starting at $2K on eBay.

First of all you generally would pay that for just the cage. Jeff's painted it for you and is throwing in the control arms and the upgraded suspension.

Granted, getting it home would be work, but once there you'd have a wonderful starting point for a race car with a lot of the hateful stuff already done for you. Bump for Jeff.

Thx guys. Unfortunately, I will surely take a huge loss on the car. I've made my peace with that though.

I do understand that it's going to be hard to transport for some. If it would make it any easier, you're welcome to do any work necessary in my garage. Bring your suspension and swap and drive it home.

While I'm at it, I might as well plug my other items for sale:

In addition to this, I have a set of like-new Advance Design shocks that could go with it.

If nothing else, this would make a good backup-shell for some of you H1 guys.

I thought you had sold the AD shocks on the other thread. Guess you have a 2nd set? Are they designed to go with GC coilovers?

I had two sets, the first (the one that I sold) was for ITR rear lca's and was valved for higher spring rates.

The second is for GSR rear lca's and is valved for around 4-500lb springs. I was planning to keep and use them but am now considering selling my other hatchback hybrid as well. I'm too tempted to spend money on the car, and all I use it for is a commuter lately.

Yeah, that was my other Q, the valving. I'm up to 600 lb springs in the rear. I'm sure someone will pick them up.

I really wish the car wasn't so far from me now, or I would be trying to pick this up..

Holy crap.
You could turn this thing into a bad-*** ITC car for next to nuthin'. Especially after selling all the Type R and GSR shizzy. And its not just a good ITC car on paper. Our friend KRBobcat is kicking *** in his CX up in the midwest.

Engines and trannys for this car range from free to dirt cheap. Chad IIRC was trying to give one away earlier this year.

Again, this is one of those things that makes my skin crawl when people say "I can't afford to race." Bah!

If I didn't already have one (whose shell and cage cost a shitpot more than $2000 and still badly needed paint) I'd be on this like a sailor on a hooker.

Scott, who's timing once again sucked monkey *****.

Still no bids on this option...

Jeff is a nice guy who is discovering how badly race car money math sucks. Someone buy this, poke CX bits in the box, and I'll be your instructor next year at Roebling Road.

I'm actually struggling... fighting... beating down the urge to buy this car.

It'd be really, really stupid. And I want to do it anyway.

Its actually the idea of needing a new super-duty truck and a 2 car hauler thats stopping me, not building another car.
Yeah, I'm sick.

Where the hell is Richard Floyd???
He wants this car, he just doesn't know it yet.

Now you had to go and do that to me didn't you. That never even occurred to me. And Jeff lives 30 minutes from me.

Crap.

Excellent idea Karl. You buy it, so I'm not tempted to.

I cant buy anything for 6 months anyways, after I move.
