Need some help with a Main Relay on 93 teg
My Integra has problems starting the second time after I drive it a short distance, after some research I found out that its most likely the main relay. I got a main relay from Honda. Today I was installing it and noticed that 1) the bracket that holds the main relay is longer on the new one and 2) They have different part numbers! Old one is RZ-0067 and new one is RZ-0063. They look the same besides that bracket "which I can switch. Did they change the part number? Will this new main relay work? this is on a 93 Acura Integra LS. Thanks!
Brown is old black is new

those should be the same no difference, and plus if u bought it from honda dealer they kno better and pretty much thats the rite one.. and about the part number it doesnt really matter prolly honda just change it to the new ones coz it has been a long time since ur car is lil bit old.. as long as the tooth inside are the same and the housing u should be fine, and plus the voltage are the same
... NOTE: dont forget to unplug ur battery before installing that... thats part of electric components...

Well I said the hell with it and poped the new one in. Car strarted fine I went down the road and now the RPMs keep dropping super low and the car is about to stall out when I get off the clutch! Any ideas!
before u change the main relay does ur car do the same thing after u change it ?? like rpm dropping and almost stall??? why did u change the main realy anyways wut was ur car doing ?? any codes or does ur engine light on ?? more info please...
Well I want back to the old main relay and its still dropping really low, then after 30 secs it goes up. It doesnt stall but it feels like it. Is it possible the ECU has to catchup since I disconnected the battery?
I didnt have this problem before I swapping relays

well here the solution lose up ur distributor and turn it really really carefull handle wit care but i dunno where to turn it if it clockwise or counter clockwise.. but have ur buddy lookin up the RPM while u turnin the distributor slowly and when it hit 600 to 700 ur fine leave it there and tite the distributor up again.. simple as that...and if doesnt do anything check ur distributor cap, rotor, wire, plugs, and some of ur fuel systems....

I also had the brown relay, but the dealer sold me the black one also. My gen2 still doesn't start. The car starts if I jump the circuit controlling the fuel pump. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

My friend came down today and we cleaned out the throttle body, cleaned PVC, adjusted idle and it works better then ever! Dont know why this suddenly happened after I changed the relay?! Thanks!
