Default 93 Civic horn how to replace with off the shelf one?

Im trying to replace my dying horn with a loud one from the store. The original horn had a two terminal connector- one wire bule/red, the other white/green.
The store bought has one +12VDC terminal, and one Chassis ground terminal.
I tried hooking the green to the ground terminal, and blue/red to hot, but that fried my fuse when I plugged it back in.
I tried the reverse with Green in hot and Blue on the ground terminal, but I only heard a click on the AM radio station I bump.
Then I tried only green in hot, nothing, and then I tried Red in hot only- that one honked when I plugged the fuse in.
Does ne1 know how to wire it up?
From what I understand its Switched negative? Is that true?
TIA

I read another DIY website with the answer for another Civic model, but when they unclipped the horn connector, only one wire was connected. Hmmm.

Some horns have 2 plugs,

The ground is going to the blue/red wire and Positive goes to the white/green
