any word from Beaverun?
I think Bookler and Reid were the only H1 guys going.
anyone know if there were a handfull of H4 cars?
I know lots of the mid-west events only have 1 car in each Class.....

Yeah, but it is true. Chuckee Cheese must be some parental Right of Passage and gross, over priced pizza wrapped up in one expensive afternoon.

I was working timing and scoring today
whitaker got 3rd in SB and first in h1 his quick laps were in the low 1:05s to mid 1:06 at the fastest.
Franza was maybe a .5 seconds behind him at the end of the race.(great race between those 2.)
Reid had an axle problem like 5-7 laps in. and did not continue.
Bookler was inbetween team Carbotech and the H4 Integras
81 got the win in H4. Kofod(sure he will post vid) and the number 80 car had contact in turn 2/3 and they were ahead buy a half a straight.
well that is the very short repot from beaver today i am sure these guys will fill you in on the rest.

mattamotor - thanks for the reply.... i didn't even know that whittaker was going..... him winning both events this weekend may cement his first place for the year since he can count 2 out of region series events.
Effect - I love that pizza... I also love how parents just ignore their kids at that place, so they start begging me for tokens.....

whiteaker won H1 and small bore today.
other than that it was pretty hetic in the timing booth and not even what other HC finished(fraze did not).
Yesterday Fraza did set the new Record Lap for H2 1:06:357

thanks for the report..... so add 210 to the point total for John Whitaker and I think he has it wrapped up..... i think that gives him 1015 points for his 10 races....
what happened to franzanator?

Ian Carpenter #80 and I had a great race in H4 both days. Unfortunetally I made a very poor error in judgement during Saturday's race and took both Ian and myslef out at the end of the front straight. Andrew Zimmerman in the #81 car was right behind us and took his first win of season.
I will post all the details in a seperate post later tomorrow. Ian and I were never seperated by more than a 1/2 car length the entire weekend.
Regards,
Jon

All I needed was 10. Good thing too, 'cause I broke another outer CV
Damn I am tired. Although a small turnout, we had mucho fun. Great seeing everyone, and great seeing Todd back out with us in the new K-powered beast! Man, that thing does have some power!
1:06.3...I still think that they got Whitaker and I switched

David is 100% right.
H1 is still wide open between 4-5 guys. The last 3 weekends at Summit will be BIG!
Franza and I were able to do some major chassis testing/ tuning this weekend with my H1 bucket.
1. The Carbotech XP1110's are un-freakin-believable!
I loved the 09's but these are even better.
2. Adjusting the entire suspension back to "zero" then working your way up proved a good exercise in finding more speed.
Good weekend.
See everyone at Summit.

Great weekend for track time! We had a 45min session at the end of sat
and every other session was about 30min. The run groups were small enough, that they told us we could run in HPDE 2-3 group, and the 4 group if we wanted.
I think there might of been more Time Trial cars there than HC cars, but it was still fun to watch the small bore race.
1:06 is flying, nice driving.

Had a great weekend working grid and running time trials in my daily driver '99 Civic EX. Loved watching the battle between Kofod and Carpenter both days for the H4 win and it was a great battle between JohnW and Franza on Saturday. Debating on coming to Summit to run 1 of the 3 remaining weekends in H5. Had an overall great weekend chatting with everyone, and hope to see you all again yet this year.

Sam,
Thanks for all the hard work out there on the grid.
Matt,
I still think (Falken ?) should use you in their advertising and give you some sponsorship. Here would be the advertising slogan:
"We ONLY placed 3rd at this past weekend's Honda Challenge Races...............
...........And we were on STREET tires.........The new Falken street tire.........drive it to the RACE TRACK !!
Cheers,
Jon
