Default '96 del Sol Si brakes onto a '92 CX

If this post offends or irritates you, then click the back button on your browser. I don't need to hear any crap about tellng me to search unless you find the answer to my questions through searching, because most of the stuff I've read has to do with Integras.

I have a '96 del Sol Si that I want to take the brakes from and put on my '92 CX. From what I've gathered (and assume), I can just pull the rear trailing arm and hub assembly, disconnecting it at the LCA. One issue I'm wondering about, though, is what, and which, brake lines I need. The brake system is essentially the same between the hatch Si and the del Sol Si, so I assume the lines I would need would come from the Si hatch.

I'm also confused about the fronts. How much of the suspension do I need? Just the hub assembly? Or is it easier to pull the front LCA? And again, which lines?

Thanks for any help or direction.

1-del sol ebrake cables.

2-the whole front spindle/hub from the delsol and switch it over to the cx.
just remove it from the upper and lower ball joint and youll be good.

So there shouldn't be any issues with length on the e-brake cables? And will the lines bolt up OK?

Thanks for the help.

you will have to use 92-95 civic si ebrake cables!!!!!!! and i strongly suggest once its done take it straight to get an alignment !!!!! i almost lost control of my hatch when i finished this swap

Yeah, from what I've gathered, the 5th gen e-brake cables will be the ones to use and for the lines jsut use whatever the caliper uses (so the del Sol lines). I suppose it's really just a matter of unbolting all the stuff.

I also be taking it into work for an alignment after I get it done. A benefit of working at a Honda dealership with an alignment rack.
