Default need help with v-tec not working!!!!

I have an LS/v-tec, 00 b16 head and 97 ls block, The v-tec is wired perfectly, I have oil in it (full), my ECU engaged v-tec in my friend's car so I know its not that. I checked all the plugs and wires, everything works. I even checked it with a test light and the ECU sends power when i reach 5800 rpm. I have no codes poping out. I clean the screen on the v-tec unit itself. I don't know what else to check.

did you run the oil lines good? Is your oil pump stock, maybe you just strave for oil when solenoid opens up.

I will tell you in several different cars I have had and both rode in and built. That the Vtec in some is Very Very loud and in some you cannot even hear it engage. I have a 2000 Gsr swap in my 95 CX right now and until I added the header you couldnt hear it at all. And now it is so loud that it can be heard down the street. Some motors are just different. Dont know why either. It is funny.

Have any check engine codes? Vtec only needs a few things to function. Good oil pressure, a certian TPS postition and the car to be warm (could be a few more, I don't work on VTEC at all).

I have a brand new gsr oil pump, over the weekend i took the oil pan off and checked the pick up, there was nothing in it to clog it. The oil line isn't kinked or anything, its run good. I do have an engine code though, I don't know what it is.
it code 10. When i looked it up it says that it is the intake temp. sensor. I put the one that goes on the intake pipe itself, i don't know if that is the one and if it is the light won't come off.

Any suggestions???
