my Ep3 seats in my eg hatch !!!! I sit too talll
ok i got some mint ep3 front seats for my hatch. i bought them from this kid i know in my area with welded brackets to bolt right into eg/dc. The thing is that i like to sit low and these sit high. atleast too high for me.. I like how the sol seats fit in my car. I loved how i sat in them. I want to know if anyone knows how to make or anyone has done it to their seats. I would like to make them atleast 1-2" lower. any suggestions? thanks

redo the brackets.

The seats can only go so low, you just have to look at the rails and the small crossmembers that the stock seats bolt to. Even with the rails right up against the horizontal crossmembers, it looks like those seats will be pretty high.
You might have to do some cutting on the car if you really want to make them lower, but those seats seem a lot bigger, they're going to sit higher...

as low as the floor plus an inch or two , flat floor mounting is the way I'd go.

i jus installed these the best way i knew how into a eg. it takes a long time and fabrication to do, but fits perfect and sits as low as the stock eg seats.
what you have to do is take your old eg seats and take off the foam and skin so its just the bare frame/skeleton. then do the same for the ep seats. then take the ep foam and skin and put it over the eg frame (you have to cut the welds on the eg headrest for these to fit) then bolt everything back up and youre good to go... take ur time on the ep seats so you dont rip the foam or suede and make sure u put everything back with all the springs to fit perfectly... ill have pics posted soon!

even if the seats had no brackets, you would still sit high cus the seats are just tall over all.i had a set in my integra and i hated hoe they fit.your head is almost on the roof
thats a negative, its because the rails and the frame on the stock ep seats are very thick/tall therefore they ride high. but this is like a eg seat with a ep skin. you sit much lower when swappin out the entire frame.
