I know that this is stupid but oh well I gotta know. I have a 89 CRX Si w/ a JDM B16a Swap w/ the LSD tranny. my starter went out and I have just moved to Myrtle Beach, SC. The only way it will start is to push start it. What starter do i need to get. What do I tell the guys at auto zone or advance auto parts or where ever I get the starter. Do I ask for a 99 civic Si starter or what. Any help would be grateful. Thanks.

yeah any 92+ integra starter will work until 01. id ask for the pricing of all of these (92.93,94..etc) and just buy the cheapest one, they all will work...

 

alright that is cool. I had a guy tell me to get the 99 SI starter earlier but i wasnt sure. everyone keep asking if the car was a standard and it is and mine is a manual clutch and the 99 is a hydrolic; of coarse yall know this. So, does that cause a problem or what.

 

nope it doesnt matter about being hydraulic or cable. it all works.
for example im using a 97 integra starter on my b16 cable tranny. hth
