the engine weight diff is mostly in the head right? Maybe 25-50lbs more than a sohc engine?

 

it's about 50 pounds in just the engine I would say.

 

thanks just curious...was wondering if a dohc would really make my front end squat forcing me to buy new springs. I figure if I took the a/c out and since I would have to do a manual swap it would equal out.....I always though slush box where heavier like with domestics a th350 weighs more than a m21 4 speed
