I put wheel bearing grease in mine. It works for about 4-5 months. Then you have to add more.

I used to have to push mine down when i pulled the lever for it to open.

Try adjusting the spring on the latch, theres a screw that goes in or out. I had to unscrew mine a few turns for it to work.

I had this with my crx and I just took apart the latch on the radiator support and cleaned it out with some WD-40 now it works fine. There was a bunch of grease and grime in there.

Default the latch

i know that when i had the same problem as you guys, i just "adjusted" the radiator support by slightly bending it until it popped open good and shut all of the way. yes i know that it is ghetto but hey at least i dont have a stubborn hood anymore! it probably wouldn't have hurt to just grease it up first though... oh well.

ya, it has to do with the latch. when you pull the hood latch from inside it pulls like a throttle cable pulls the throttle open for air and revs up. but it just pulls a spring that pops the latch open to give you that little space to put your hand and open it up all the way. grease the spring and latch up....probably just getting old...rusty or something

spray some WD40 on it and let it soak in for a while.. then take an air gun and blash off all the grime. I use a synthetic grease.
