Like the title says.
If you have a B16, CTR, or ITR tranny, this gearset will lower your cruising rpms, yet not as extreme as LS 5th gear.

If you have the .848 fifth, then the GSR .787 will reduce cruising rpms by about 10%.
And we all know how expensive gas is....
This is a good mod to do at the same time as LSD install.

Not sure I can speak for the cable trannys. I know it's swappable on all the hydros though.
Might want to call Gearspeed with that question. Good question though, Those Y1/YS1 cable B16 trannys had hella high 5th gear ratio (highest of them all).

It won't fit the small spline trannies (i.e. a1, s1, j1, y1). It should fit the ys1 though
