Default 350z runs 1/4 in 14 flat

I read in the new modified magazine that 350z's run the 1/4 in 14 flat. I thought that the 350 would run faster times. I mean just 1 second difference between the 350z and the gsr. I have never raced a 350 but I thought it should rip apart a gsr. That means a itr could take it on a good day or at least keep up with it. Anybody race on yet? If so, how much did the 350z win by or did you pull even?

I raced a 350z in my 4dr GSR I/H/C/E (untuned) and he had me off the line until I was mid 3rd gear. At the top of 3rd we were even and I backed off. I don't like to race past 95mph even though it was on open deserted rd.

I played with a G35 before and we were pretty close, I wheeled him in. But I had 200whp. Are you are comparing 14 sec to 15 sec, that is a HUGE difference. A race like that will be Night and Day with the 14 sec leaving the 15 sec car. It won't be close at all.

what the hell diffence would it make, if you are on a deserted road. You already raced the car through (3 or 4 gears) you might as well beat the dam car. Unless there was a possibly of police showing up. It doesn't make sense.

Its like ******* a girl and not busting a nut.

haha rega..love the analogy....

but yea...a second is a HUGE difference...maybe not between a 21 second quarter and a 20 second quarter

but get into that 13-15second range.and a second is huge

Many people on 350z forums have run 13.7 STOCK.
People have run 13.8 in STOCK g35 Manuals.
14.0 g35 Sedan Manual also.

i'd take a 350Z anyday over a run of the mill Integra. I don't care if the Integra is boosted. RWD + sexy six.

There damn quick. I had a nice run with one when I had 190whp all motor last year, we were dead even through all 4 gears and died down at 115mph (I was in 5th because of my 4.785 FD).

I met up with 3 this summer. I beat them all. Im boosted now though so the turbo helped out quite a bit. There still very nice cars and in stock form they get along very well, i'd definately take one. However, I haven't found one yet that is modified so I can test the teg out. In stock trim, I walk them all day.

my uncle??(uncle's wife's brother) has one and it's slightly modded with the basic I/E/H reprogrammed ecu...and i think that's it?? i'll have to ask him. but we raced a few times on the highway to his house 30 min away from my place. in 316whp(10psi) trim i take him by 1 1/2 cars until 4th gear then we even out slowly. with 15psi, i take him by 1 1/2 cars and by the end of 3rd beginning of 4th i'm 3 cars ahead and pulling. i tell ya, driving one first hand i thought my teg was a pig...that thing feels like a COW!!
