Default droping an engine in my 97 civic

i want to drop a type-r engine in my 97 civic, and i want to know i would be able to do it my self, i have some or little experence and i love cars, and what is the average price for some one to do, and what are the extera's i would need to have it put in becides the motor mounts. and are there any other support or structural or frame thing that would need to be done? thanks klap

just do it yourself..
i took a good 2 days doing it myself, and it was my first
if you have a civic ex or vx it's a cake walk for a type-r swap

just have a complete swap w/the right mounts (si or aftermarkets ones) u should be fine doing it yourself. Good supplies/tools is a stress free swap..

my friends and I managed to put a h22 in a civic as our first swap. It took us 3 days when we didn't know all that much. You will learn a lot by doing it your self. My friends and I can pull a motor and drop one in a day now. Good way to make spare cash.
