As for your question, 2" is the general rule of thumb. You should be fine.

Lol yea i was reading his post, i was like okay it has nothing to do with my question ....anyways so anything lower than 2 needs a camber kit...hmm...even with my drop it seems like theres quite some negative camber in the rear...but since i ve seen some previous post saying the same thing " 2 inches as the rule of thumb"...i guess i dont need one then ...right?
You shouldn't need one but if you feel like your tires are wearing too quickly due to bad camber get one anyways. It can't hurt. Just try it and see, if it helps good, if it doesn't keep it in case you decide to go lower.

The smart thing to do would be to have it put on an alignment rack and see how off your camber/caster/toe are. Whenever you change the geometry of the stock suspension, all three will change. They will all affect your tire wear. It takes as little as a month of driving to wear your tires unevenly. With that can come a rough ride and droaning. Nothing worse than a car that sounds like an airplane going 45 down the street cuz the tires are chopped up.
People that drive cars with their wheels looking like this / --- \ are idiots.
Do it right

oh yea, i probably will get an alignment done pretty soon..its been about 2 weeks after the drop...any suggestions on cheap places to get them at?....cheapest i have found was at sears auto center...60 bucks.
I have a 95 Accord LX and lowered my car with H&R Springs (1.25" drop). After about 6 months (around 3,000 miles) my front wheels were pretty worn on the inside and as I was new to this, didn't realize how much my camber was affected.
I would definitely get your alignment checked out as soon as possible because you don't want to have to buy a new set of tires in 6 months. (more expensive than a camber kit)
I bought an Eibach kit of eBay for around $100.

I wouldn't trust your 400$ tires on that assumption that "yours SHOULD be fine".
Even less than a 2" drop will affect all 3 of your alignment settings. I should know... I do alignments at my shop.
Also, most garages only set your toe and send you on your way. If you were smart, you would ask for your "before" and "after" printout which lets you know how far you were off on your caster/camber/toe and what they set it to.

It can be time consuming depending on how off your alignment is and if you want to correct everything. Sometimes you have to purchase parts like a cam bolt or shim, or even a camber kit. On average a takes a good tech a half hour to set your toe properly. Anything more and it depends on what parts you have to install to correct it.
We charge 39.95 for a front end alignment (toe set). If you camber is off, it's additional parts and labor.

you can get 1 year worth of unlimited allignments at NTB for $80 or w years for $100...so if you ever decide to change your suspension setup just go back there to get it realigned for free..my suggestion
