Ok, i have a 88 Crx Hf with a 95 B18b just H/I/E. I have a DOHC ZC computer that im trying in my car, where the revlimiter on that is at 7500rpm's, i have heard theses motors redline at 7200rpm's. My question is what is the safest i could take that motor up too. (Figured id come to the forum that knows integras) Thanks for anything.

You can take it up to 7200 after that it starts to lose its power

 

b18b redline is 6800 rpm, with the head being stock, power drops off imediatly after that, making it pointless to rev higher

 

yep 6,800 rpms is rite on the dot, cuz when i put in my chipped ecu and msd i could rev to 7,000 rpms but at 6,800 rpms i could heard my stock valve springs going out (they would may a weird whoosing sound like wind) But now i got the dual spring conversion w/ better cams so now im hittin 9,500 no prob

 

but the LS maxxes out power at around 5500, shift fast aroudn 6500. or u will be wasting time. after 5500 its just noise pretty much

 

i though its hp curve toped out at 6200
