(OT) Funny thing occured on the way back from the EXPO....
Usually when I hear a "thud" or run over something on the road, my first reaction is to look in the rear view mirror to see what it was. Well somewhere on US 15 South in PA after leaving the Expo I saw something very quickly out of the corner of my eye in front of the car then "BLUMP" and nothing came out the back of the car. Hurm I thought, still got oil pressure and no blue lights in the mirror so I kept on getting it.
When I got back, later the next week I changed the oil and tranny fluid and got a whiff of something "not quite right" after inspecting the undercarriage for anything out of the norm I thought nothing of it. Well last week when I did my next oil change, I could barely stand the smell under the hood while pouring oil into the crankcase. Upon further inspection I found the below................

LOL, the red hatchcrapper was known for kill hordes of rabbits and such but never a Blue Jay. I guess the EP3 bucket is now a bird dog....

i have a big problem with birds flying into my Subaru...its like a bird magnet or something. I have had the car about 18 months and have had no less than 10 birds have flown into it...even got one stuck in the windshield wiper once...I need to find my pics
heh. . . we used to call my old hatch "pidgeon grill" because I hit a pidgeon once doing 80 and there was bloody feathers all over my rad and header.
