Default Crank Position Sensor... Code 4... Did search, different issues!

The short version is...

1999 B16A2.

1994-1995 GSR OBD1 distributor (new OEM subassembly with new coil and ignitor).

1993 Civic DX Harness (OBD1) modified for DOHC VTEC.

Stock P28 computer... Will be chipping it soon unless we find a P30 or P72.

* Basically an OBD2 motor running OBD1 electronics.

* Timing belt and electrics done by an "A" level Acura tech and the service mgr. of an Acura dealer, so I am certain both aspects of the work are correctly done, so as to rule out what some archived posts suggested.

* No shorts in any of the wires, as we checked for continuity by referencing the pins and color codes with the factory manual and searching for any of them to ground out somewhere. All is fine, so as to rule out what some archived posts suggested.

Most people state that the car won't rev past 3500, yet on our test drive, we got VTEC to engage and have it rev to 7200-7500. This is the part that gets my friend and I. The car feels strong, but the light flashes 4 times every time we put the jumper on.

Thankfully, this is the only code on an otherwise great job.

Please help ASAP.

You can use B-series distributors with D-series ECUs???

Can you try throwing on a 92-95 Ex/Si distributor?
