89 CRX Si - Car wont run. no fuel and fuel pump doesnt turn on.
ok i just picked up a 89 CRX Si witha z6 swap. the wiring is spliced on the dizzy and at the PCM also dont know what he did to it or why but the kid said it ran for 3 days then would only click and wouldnt start. i got the car and charged the battery and it turns over like a champ but it wouldnt start
I sprayed some carb cleaner in and and started and ran for a second so i figured out there was no fuel and i checked the pump and it doesnt run. the main relay is making a constant click and one of the wires on it was cut and re attached. if i unhook the wire it stops clicking. i changed the relay out with one from a 91 hatch Si i have that i know works and same results. changed the PCM with another PM6 and that didnt help. heres a pic of the wire thats cut any help wpuld be great id like to get this thing running so i know there isnt goign to be any problems after i swap it.

hmm. trace it with the factory wiring diagram. Def a wiring problem. Check http://www.88-crx.com
i did check my hanes, doesnt halp me at all. it tells me to test the relay for continuity but i didnt have a multi meter and i tried switching it for a known working relay. its got to be soemthing else.
I said FACTORY wiring diagram. That 84-91 one-size-fits-all Haynes is good to use as toilet paper (kinda harsh though
)
Follow the link above to the service manuals.
And you will definitely need a multimeter to check wiring continuity.
