Accord 94-95 trunk/tail light assembly swap to 96-97 is it possible?
I'm interested in swapping the plain truck of a 95 Accord with that of a 97 Accord with the extra tail light section. I want to know if it is an easy swap, if at all possible to do? If it is possible, what does it entail?
well, the trunks and all are shaped seperatly, my guess is you would have to swap the whole rear end (and by that, I just mean the body panels, so forth).
The 94-95 Accord rear end looks like it is missing something and obviously Honda had realized that by changing it's rear end with the 96-97 model. I'm not a car fanatic so I never had these two models lined up next to one another so that is why I had came to this forum with my question But the whole rear end has to be converted? They look so similar though

Actually, I highly doubt they thought something was "missing." Every few years a car will go through a slight makeover without completely changing the body style. It helps to give it a fresh look, and attract buyers

I think that the 94-95 lights look better anyways. Also u can pretty much only get altezza lights for the 96-97.
Can we say R-I-C-E?

honda went through a tailight design change in the mid 90's witht he accord and prelude.....traditionaly, most honda cars had a 2 piece tail light that was fatter than it was taller (where applicable)......ovbiously, they didnt think it "fit," as they went back to an "older" style on the 96 model accord, and the 5th gen prelude....
94-95 > 96-97 in all aspects

I don't like the 94-95 look that much. I really like the look of the 96-97 ones though. The 94-95 would have to be my second choice though. Well I also like the 6th Gen Coupes but I like the 96-97's the best as that guy appears to. Although you have a good point that Altezza's are mainly all you can get. I like the stock ones a lot and I like the clear ones a lot that don't have any red in them although I'm not sure if they are legal because my cousin got a ticket for them on his Mirage.
