Default My crappy photography and the $600 turbo setup CRX

I suck at photography. I just know how to push the snap button on the camera.

My friends $600 turbo setup:

Using a standard SS Autochrome turbo manifold...so far no cracks. Not a bad manifold for the money.

FMU...he said that'll soon be replaced with Hondata.

He said he'll fix the radiator because the wastegate is shooting directly at the radiator. It's for a del sol so it's a tad big too tall.

He used generic Ebay intakes for some of the charge pipes...lol, not a bad idea!

The car sounds like a WRX for some reason

The valve cover and the clear corners were like that when he bought the car from the previous owner, he's going to put it back to stock soon.

...don't you just LOVE the JB WELD on the wastegate flange? He said it's to stop the leak that he's getting at the flange ...

radiator overflow bottle, haha.

i mean, it's a ghetto setup and all ... it could be cleaned up a bit. But he doesn't care about looks. It's a fast car and that's all that counts to him

btw...i'm surprised nobody noticed the 86' in the background!!!

also it's a garrett t3/t4 but i can't seem to get pics of it. the turbo sits too low into the engine bay and the charge pipe covers it.

John's CRX look nice. He used to have Integra turbocharged. I am looking forward to take a look at his car in person. $600 set up is cheap but talking
about boost power!

He couldn't get the stock radiator to work with it because the manifold sits out too far. The turbo also sits really low, so the a/c had to go. Also the downpipe is a tight fit with the stock lower cross member..
