well, i just got done changing my oil pump. i put everything back together, got everything timed in right (i didnt use a timing light though), and started it up. it ran good. i had it idling for about 15 mins, then i took it around the block. still ran good.

i shut it off for a few days. i started it up yesterday, let it idle, and then i took it out again. this time when i did...it would pop, stutter, hesitate, you name it.. then it started to smoke black really bad. i took out the spark plugs, and the # 1 and 4 cylider are running LEAN, and the #2 and 3 are runnning RICH.

does this sound like a timing problem?? im positive the timing was on, and that the tesioner was tight enough. any feedback would be appreciated
