I would rather keep your own work and you got a rare color that I would love to have.

mine has only 10 dime size rust spots on it and they are all where the bodykit would go, and one rust spot on the hood infront of the right headlight. my driver side fender is dented bad, and his car is completely rust free

for the headache its gonna be to buy his car for $3900, swap motors, sell all the leftover parts and / or put a motor back in your car and try to sell that... your better off just spending $3900 on a body kit and some quality paint, and a nice set of wheels... and maybe an lsd tranny

9 clear coats? wtf. I'd just keep your car, are the rust spots all the way thru? I assume not so thats not too big of a pain to deal with. Is $3900 as low as he'll go?

if thats really what you want then sure you could probally part out some of his **** and make some money back. i would either spend the money on your car, or buy his car and have both. I would rather build to your own specs, that just me though.

i would rather have my own car and do it all myself. then you have the satisfaction and you feel that you have accomplished something.

but it seems to me like you already have you mind made up so why are you even asking us in the first place?

I ask because it is a hard decision to make. I really want to buy the car because if i did all the Bodykit stuff myself i would make my car the same thing. and i also agree with BOTH of these statements:

3900 sounds like a good deal....

maybe you can swap what you want and sell the left over car..
but thats alot of work..

for a daily driver...now if you said you were going to make a race car and keep one as a daily driver then

except that once you see the inside, i doubt anyone will steal it. The interior consists of a dash board and 2 seats. No carpet, floor mats, radio, door panels or rear interior panels. The only reason for someone to steal this car would be for the rims(which they coudnt get off anyways w.the wheel locks) and body,

Wheel locks are the least of a deterrent for a thief.

They're pretty much useless (around here anyway)

if I were a theif i'd steal his car over yours just because it looks more modified = better profit from parts.
