Default fuel rail leaking help

i just changed my fuel filter and when i cranked my car to check for leaks for some reason or another my fuel rail is leaking, the leak appears to be coming from where the fuel line coming from the fuel filter goes into the fuel rail.. any help would be greatly appreciated

Is it tight? Did you use teflon tape?

on the end of the fuel rail right before where the hose goes into it theres a little plastic cap that pops off, with an philips screw beneath the screw which is screwed into a hose, well the end of a hose, the metal peice that goes together with a bolt through it connecting it to the fuel rail, thats where its leaking from, the bolt is as tight as i can get, which is pretty tight.. so i dont know what else it could be,, helpy pweasy?

sounds like you need new crush washers on that banjo bolt. (thats what the bolt that goes through a hose is called)

Yep.. The plastic piece your talking about is the pulse dampener.. Just remove that and replace the crush washers and you should be good to go..
