I am planning on buying this H23 closed deck bare block off of ebay and building it for boost. This block comes with the thick iron sleeves unlike the H22. Is this true for all H23's? I am going to put the H22 crankshaft in it for the fact of reliability. I was wondering if any one knows how far it would be safe to bore it? There is an ebay business that builds h22 blocks and has it bored out to 92mm. Would you think it would be safe to go that big on Iron sleeves. Also how much boost would be safe with 8.4 compression forged pistons and Eagle H-beam rods?

well then that ebay business is liars. You can't bore and h22 block out to 92mm

if you're talking about those guys that say they are going to change the bore centres and stuff you are crazy

89 is the max bore I would go on sleeves, maybe less with turbo
