symtoms of detonation?

can anyone tell me what are the symtoms of detonation, like how the car sounds or runs and how the spark plugs look

well an obvious clue would be a pinging or knocking sound under load. if u have detonation u can chk for little pits on your spark plugs that is a sign of detonation.
