why is my h22 running differantly?
Ok here is the lowdown, jdm h22 is running like crap, use sea foam and 3 months later it runs like a champ. Now to the present, 6months later, it only runs super perfect at night. ie, instant power on throttle, no raspy exhaust sound on acceleration or decelleration. It just flys. But during the day it just doesnt have that extra ummmf out of vtec. The wierd thing is even tho its hotter during the day, in the morning at like 6, its still not running the same. When i floor it during the day it sounds like it has an exhaust leak but at night it doesnt, it has a nice deep purring sound . im like wtf. Anyone have a clue? thanks
hehe all flaws show during the day, paint, performance etc, all varies on where you live.
During the day my car is noticeably slower, probably because it's boiling hot out here in Irvine.
Heat will sap power from any car, also are you running AC? That will also take a bit more, the more electronics/etc stuff your running, the slower/weaker response the car will give.

not in the 1/4th yet, i ran my old '92 jdm h22a in the 1/8th, it did 8.7 on drags but that was before i had a lightened flywheel. My mods are in my sig
btw i just drove it in cold weather to take my girlfriend to school and it was driving very nicely. I think i should get a mugen thermo. Oh and with the 8lb flywheel its still got oodles of torque.
