Racing Seat Question
Hey, i was wondering if there were any ways you could go about having a racing seat sit lower, do any rails let the seats sit lower than others? Im not sure if this is the right place for this question, if it isn't just delete the thread please.
Thanks

i dont have the seat yet, but im getting sparco ultra, for an ek, sorry i dont know what rails or anything, but do certain brands leave the seat at different height levels?
In general, Bride rails are as short as they come. Bolt spacing is pretty close to the Sparco bottom mounts...you need to drill a little bit to widen the holes.
you have 2 good options imo using the seat track set or getting just the floor mount deciding wheather you want it more forward or back and have a welder making a tab for the second hole set since the front's or rears with a 2inch bolt and 1 or 2 washers will bolt right up and you can even make brakets for the rear from steel straps though having them welded is the best way.
That will be the lowest possible without super custom though on the floor moutn you wont have a adjustability
Another way is to remove your seat rails from your stock seat and have a fabricator make steel bands to them and drill throught for the saet holes on the bottom

When we do a seat, we fab a very flat steel bracket out of 3/16 mild steel that mounts on the stock holes. Then we just mount the seat flat to that. We drill a few holes so there is some adjustability. This is as low as a seat can go without modifying the tub of a car.
