rs vs ls ??????
I can make a long list, but to put it in a nutshell:
The RS is lighter due to having fewer features, including moonroof, auto locks, abs, cruise control, some years don't have a/c but I think from 94 up they did. This also leads to a less cluttered engine compartment.
The RS,LS,GS, and LS special edition all have the same b18a (90-93) and b18b (94-01) motors and suspension and brakes except for the abs feature.
so basically you have a good teg for tracking, but will miss some of the niceties if you ever had them in the first place. imo, the more spartan the better when it comes to a sports car

less weight does make a difference, but what year was your RS, cause my 94 has a/c from the factory, and it's listed as included from the factory in my year on edmunds.com

my 91 rs had cold a/c , before i boosted it ..
and it beats most ls and gsr's befor boost now it is no comparison..
if it is your only car you probly want power window and locks so go ls or gsr..
if it is a project and you want the most bang for your buck then get the rs
btw nice avator stockls

My 96 RS has A/C but no moon roof, ABS or cruise. I would have liked the cruise. It didn't come with power locks but for about $50 I added them myself. (www.comandoalarms.com)
Never use the roof anyway and saved some $ by going to with the RS. If I were to do it again though, would probably opt for an LS.

when i got my 92 RS it came with cold A/C ,now it has no power steering no A/C no wiper in the hatch and , basically toke out any thing that would have extra weight , and put a Ls/vtec motor just to make it faster , , so if you want your car just for cruse go ls but for racing a **** rs
