Default 2001 Type R Springs on a 96 Civic hatch

My buddy put tein springs on his 01 Type R and said I could use his factory springs on my hatch till I can get some of my own. Has anyone used the Type r springs on there EK? If so what kind of drop did you get, if any?

edit: I have a 96 Hatch by the way.

My factory springs are still on the car, I was just wondering if the stock ITR springs will give my car a drop or not. I want a set of tein springs, but the cash is kinda tied up right now and my friend will let me use his factory ITR untill I can get the tein, just want to know if it will lower it or not.
