Default CIVIC SI-DRAG III TURBO VS INTEGRA GSR JACKSON SUPERCHARGED!!!!**Long

Alright guys I am the one with a SI and DRAG III kit and my buddy is the one with GSR-Jackson supercharger.....Here's the mods first
00Civic SI-Turbo at 5psi
-Drag III full kit with t3/t4e instead of the t3/t4b trim
-Tial wastegate at .45bar(NO BOOST CONTROLLER YET!)
-still has cat with 2.5 downpipe into custom 3in exhaust with APEXI N1(Blue metal color-PHAT!)
-Apexi V-AFC not tuned yet for turbo
-DC short shifter with bushings
-Motor mount inserts
-ACT extreme pp+ss disc
-Upgraded lines in car,etc...SS,gauges,etc..

-00Gsr Jackson Racign Supercharger at 6psi
-Jackson 6lb pulley kit
-AEM coldair
-2 1/4 custom exhaust with Apexi N1
-ACT extreme PP with 6 puck?

Anyhow we both are pretty good drives and neither have ran at the track due to problems recently. We were both in second crusing on a blank road and hit it around 40mph. I jumped on him and them through a few gears in 4th somewhere he was half car or so ahead. I am wondering how fast my car should be right now? He is running 6psi and I am running 5psi steady and see full boost in low gear at about 4-5rpms,quicker boost in high gears. He expects 13's somehow in his car and is hella fast, I was guessing mayeb i could run a low 14. Just checking some opinons. Oh by the way both run full body kits with stock wheels and all kinds of shaved parts(little weight), and yes we are in need of new wheels for both of us.Peace!

Sounds like you need some dyno tuning, and at least a MBC. From what I hear controlling boost with just the wastegate spring doesn't work to well.

I don't know anything about the drag kit but isn't 5 pretty low? b/c i see people dynoing it here and i think they have it at like 6-8? I'm not sure though, but if that's true, you did pretty good, any idea how many hp your putting to the wheel?

BTW tell your friend to get a shortram aem intake, a 3" exhaust, and his next mod should be a kamikaze header, then he should be getting cam gears and tuning it. then he'll be even faster.

NEW UPDATE!!!! Hey guys thanks for the comments. The car is really running rich right now but i still decided to have some fun with it tonight. Raced my buddies Si with Greddy headers, apexi dunk exhaust, shifter, CAI, MSD, bolt on heaven. Anyhow he has a Si that Braman honda sold as is with a supercharger originally installed already. Well that supercharger broke and he got a new one and hits 10psi(don't know what kind of pulley but have seen the gauge read that) prototype maybe? Well we did a rolling run from about somewhere in first or second and I have a little on top of the car up to 100++ and it just stayed that way. HOW MUCH HP do you guys think I am running at 5PSI,LOL!!!! By the way the 10psi supercharger SI pulled like a motha in top gear a few weeks ago on my buddies GSR greddy turbo with large intercooler, this was before the turbo had any boost controller and tuning

Why don't you guys race from a standing stop, with somone starting you off. It seems to me it would be a little more accurat when racing to see who's car is faster.

Are you running 5 PSI or .45 BAR?

.45 = 6.6 PSI

hes probably running a .45bar spring but only seeing 5psi or so..

I wouldnt race your friend from a start if I were you.. Im not a fan of JRSC's but he will always get you outta the hole especially on the street.. but at 5psi id say your probably making around 190whp, probably about the same as his car if it is not tuned. just get a MBC and turn your boost up to like 7psi and youll be pretty fast..

Tonight was going to be the first time I could get my buddies to run at the track here but its been raining all day. I am not a fan of street racing and therefore don't want to cause a seen by stopping traffic at a standstill. I guess it wouldn't be a big deal but I am actually under probation for DRAG RACING!!!!! Its a big huge mistake with no evidence but I figure they say I was so I guess i need to. When the RSX-S first came out my girl had one and they clocked her going 95+ in a 45 and I was 1/8 mile back doing 65. Anyhow after lawyer cost $1500 worth of shitz and 25 hours of communoty service I haven't started yet

from a dead stop......my moneys on the s/c'er. at least up to 90 mph. turbo should be quicker when racing over 100mph.

........and turn the boost up to at least 8psi and go to a dyno.

So you've raced all these freinds of yours to like 100 mph while you were on probation for street racing? Is it just me, or does that sound like a not very good idea?

About me racing some friends...well ya. I got admit I ain't the smartest cow on the farm but I ain't stupid either. I mean tonight was a little fooling around with my friend with a GREDDY GSR-7-8lbs and he jumped the whole on me although I had a heavy friend 190lbs! Top end I was actually catchign but hey whatever, case being This was down a dead end road in the middle of nowhere and I drive slow on the street most of the time. I never get into a race at a stoplight deal, or follow friends driving too fast. I mean I have a good time but nothing thats goingt o danger me too much, and for sure not others. Import stuff is great I think but I hate talking about it to people that aren't really into the scene....For instance people will either talk about ridculous things they are going to do to there car which will all know won't happen or even worse talk smack about there cars running this or running 14.0 1/4 mile in a mild modded EX.lol. I don't mean to get off the subject here so I will talk about my friend CHRIS with the GREDDY GSR. has profec b and tt. He jumped into boost around 3-4rpms and I didn't start to move until like 4-5rpms but his car really isn't impressing me too much. I like the quality on his kit thought, parts fit like a glove! Aight HT-members night!
