Odd brake wear, any clues?
I recently installed brembo blanks and hawk hp+ pads on my teg.
Fronts went on 5 days ago and have about 100miles on them at the moment, rears have just been installed and broken in.
Linked from an integra forum since I dont feel like rewriting it

I think I'd go along with some of the replies over there. Several times I've had to file the pads a bit to get them to go smoothly into the caliper bracket. I'd be afraid to file the caliper bracket. Something's preventing the pad from pressing square on the rotor, so it only contacts part of the surface. The job of the caliper bracket it to hold the pad, but allow it to move freely in & out, as long as it stays square to the rotor.
I think I'm gonna agree with the caliper braket beeing the problem. When I filled it down, I sanded off a bit of corrosion bubbles....I assume they "squeezed" the pad in..
Here's to hoping that was the solution.

New brake pads maybe? I heard all the good brakes out there are so powerful they ware out faster. On my mercades, it has nice brakes and then in 2 months screeching noises were heard and the dealer said to change the break pads. Brembo brakes
