Default Is there something wrong with the new honda calipers?

My GF's 01 civic and her brother's '03 Accord both are showing signs that the slides need to be greased. One pad isnt being gripped causing a clicking noise when applying the brakes after shifting from forward to reverse and vise versa, this is also causing uneven pad wear. When I told my GF to go to the dealership to have them grease the slides they blew her off by saying the noise was normal. That is total and utter bullshit. Anyone else having this problem?
