Is it hard to take of 4 disc antilock off a 91 accord se
i have a 4dr se that im parting out (interested holla back) and i would like to know if the anti lock brake system can be taken out and put on anther one that does not have it
The time and effort to convert a non-abs car to abs would be absurd. Not saying it couldn't be done though.
what you could do is if it has better calipers and bigger rotors you can switch those parts but if they are both the same it's not worth it.
what do you mean ??? can i use the anti lock brakes in the back ? cause the front ones look the same but the back has the drum
then switch out the rears so you can have rear discs also are you positive the front brakes are the same are the rotors any bigger or anything?

I had a '91 SE. I cannot remember the number of times I needed to grab the parking brake, because the ABS sytem was engaged and I was shooting right past a red light or stop sign. Honda's ABS system sucked *** in '91, just like most manufactures. The latest generations of ABS and traction control are far superior. I wouldn't waste any time with a swap.
thanx alot i wont bother taking them off its going staight to the junk yard ...... but should i take the rear discs off and put it on mine ??? not the abs system but just the rear discs ? and if so is it hard to do the job your self ?
Sure, do the rear disc conversion; a lot of people do that. Since it's a front wheel drive car and most of the weight is in the front, it's not a huge performance increase, but it sure looks good.
If you don't do the swap, you could sell the parts pretty quick.
