how would i go about cleaning the combustion chambers??

i was thinking of using simple green and scotchbrite pads

I pulled my head off and used carb cleaner and simple green. I also used the dremel to match the gasket with out taking out the valves. Now that i did all that i wish i would of just got it hot tanked and got it 5 times as clean. To get the carb build up off the top of the pistons i just used a small wire brush tool with the dremel. It works good on the valves to.

first off why do you need them clean?

second. is the head off or on...

if on seafoam...if off, hot tank
