Default FS: Inexpensive wheels for Type R (aftermarket)

UPDATE - WHEELS WERE SOLD ON 12/29/01

I recently purchased a '98 Type R from a good friend who autocrossed it. Since he wanted to use the stock wheels for racing, he purchased a set of 15x6.5 Konig GT-R wheels for street use.

I'm planning on putting the stock wheels back onto the car and don't have much of a need for the Konigs. They are in great shape, no major flaws whatsoever. Just a few tiny scuffs or nics from daily use - no curbing, etc. For reference, the car has less than 30,000 miles, and the car as a whole is virtually flawless.

They'd make a great extra set of wheels for someone, maybe for winter/rain use, maybe for street use to free up your stock wheels for racing. They range about $130-$140 each new. Looking to get $275 (Update! MAKE ME AN OFFER - WILLING TO SELL AT VERY LOW PRICE!!) out of them including the lug nuts (tires not included, buyer pays shipping from zip code 98033). I WILL SELL THESE - I WILL TAKE THE BEST OFFER!!!

This website has a picture, just imagine five lugs rather than four... http://www.eliteone.com/wheels/konig.htm

E-mail me if you're interested!

Absolutely no reasonable offer refused, unfortunately I don't have the space to keep them, so I've got to sell quickly...

Anyways, see ya around, Pat.

You wouldn't happen to know how heavy they are would you? Also, What the offset is?

Thanks.

Hi Chayse!

I'm at work right now so I'm pretty useless with the info I have at my fingertips! I'll weigh them when I get home later tonight and post the results. Also, I'm thinking +40, but let me double check on that as well. I'll post as soon as I get home and have a chance to check - maybe I can take a quick digital pic, too...

thanks!

Allrightie! Well they weigh 15 lbs each per my scale here at home. The markings on the wheels are "15x6 1/2 JJ 40" so I'm pretty positive I was right on with the +40 offset. I've got a digital pic taken that I can e-mail to you if you send me your e-mail address!

Make me an offer, we're tripping over these in our little 900 square foot house!

Wish the wheels were 15x7s, I would buy for road racing.

For those of you that don't know, Annie is a very good autocrosser. Met them (Annie and Ron) at a national/Pro Solo event a couple years ago.

Good luck selling!!!

Yeah, I figure third time's a charm! I only went for a pair of S2000's, but this will make a trio of Type R's... I have to admit, it's very odd buying a nearly identical car for MORE than what I sold my '98 for two years ago! Well, this one's in much better shape and has less miles...

Ron & I are planning on running a Miata next year, but I think Bart #3 will see the course with decent frequency...
