Default Any welding schools in NY for cheap?

I bought a TIG welder recently and was wondering if there's any welding schools in Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island that are cheap or free

I tried searching online for the community trainning workshops but came up without any luck. Any help would be appreciated

I guess there really aren't. No wonder I haven't been able to find any.

Are you referring to NYC or the whole state? EMCC in Rochester, NY offers a welding course that I believe is 2-3 months long. From what I've read, its a fairly comprehensive course as it is intended to train people to weld for a living. I think there's a beginner and advanced course, but I'm not. I was going to take it two years ago, but lacrosse got in the way and now with classes at college I don't have time. I'll get around to it someday.

Check with a community college or career training center near you if you're not around here.

use the tig torch to heat up the metal and mate it together with a filler rod,

I only know MIG, but i'd be more than willing to come over and **** with your TIG welder, hehe
