yes... the last 40 whp to reach 250whp is the hardest to gain.

Stock pistons?

A K24 with low compression, and huge cams is not gonna make power, you won't be able to rev it past 7500 and the big cams will loose power with low rpms and low compression.

You'd probably be better off just sticking with a K20 bottom end and getting some high compression pistons. If you go with the K24 bottom, your gonna need alot of the K20 parts for the bottom end, and you'll need aftermarket pistons at minimim to use big cams. Try lookign into hytech cams and valvetrain, they have various stages, that might be better for a motor that will make peak torque and power at a lower rpm then a k20.

Header: DTR FAB Race Header

Cams: Toda Racing Spec N2 (waiting for skunk2 or crower)

pulleys:

would the extra 40hp be that hard to gain? </TD></TR></TABLE>

i have the header, and it's great, i would highly recomend it.

crower dose make cams for it, i just got some stage 3's in the mail today.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=862702

i have some light weight pully's i want to get rid of if your looking to buy.

and 40hp shouldn't be hard at all with a k20 or k24....

good luck

see my sig, basically a stock k24a2 in dc5

top end breathing though will be hard in a k24, my h22a suffered the same thing... after 7k power is hard to find, because of the long stroke. however the torque is amazing!

I think 7500rpm is enough to move those crower cams isnt it?

I changed them for the Toda Racing VTC Killer Gears.

Other mods should include:

Bore: 90.5mm Sleeves
Stroke: Earl 90.5m Custom Crankshaft
Pistons: 11.5 Forged Ross Pistons
Rods: Crower Rods
Misc: Port & Polish & 3-Angle Valve Job

Has anyone used more aggressive cams than the type r's in any set-up? And is your integra going to be in full-streets trim or gutted?

A little OT. How does the K24 compare to the K20 (any regrets)? Thanks!
