Default fuel pressure guage, electrical or mechanical?

i'm about to get a fuel pressure guage so i can see whats going on with my fuel pressure when im driving. i wanna get the electrical one but its like 150-200$ compare to the mechanical one thats about $40... i know it makes sense to get the electrical one but if the mechanical one is so bad y do they even sell the mechanical one??? what do u guys think? electrical or mechanical for safety wise?

Use mechanical gauges for the pressure gauges.pressure can change quickly, electric gauges react slow.electric gauges are good for temperature, because temp does not change rapidly(normally)...so yea get a mechanical one

I'd get the electrical. Last thing I want in the cabin of my car is a fuel line.

i would only use mechanical for an outside mounted gauge, use electrical in the cabin.

is the mechanical one a stainless steel line or what?? i know its a bad idea having fuel going into the cabin but if its so bad why do they sell it? have u heard of any fires or anything that happened before with the mechanical one?

Don't be cheap, get the electrical. Heaven forbid you were in an accident, what are the chances of a fluid leak in the cabin w/ an electrical guage?

you use a guage isolator w/ mechanical fuel guage in the cabin.
It uses anti-freeze instead of fuel.

plus it isnt legal at the track technically.
personally i dont want 80 psi of fuel pressure staring me in the face.

they have isolators that can handle what pressure? im just asking i dont remember seeing one that high.

as far as electric gauges, i dont see an issue with being slow.
